Antique original world war one / world war two german fighting knife. Typical configuration of the classic world war one / world war two era german trench knife... 8 1/2 inches long over length.

5 inch long, full tang blade. It comes in a period made, custom leather sheath..

Likley made the the same U. Solider who created the grips. The blade is 100% german design with the hooked finger guard.

The neat thing about this dagger... Is the fact that an american GI aperantly captured it... And then modified the handle. The original was removed and an aluminium handle was expertly fitted to the hilt... The grips have what look like a german 8mm ball round cast into either side of the slabs.

The blade shows light signs of sharpening.. But no real dammage or pitting. A historic and unique theater knife... Made out of a captured enemny weapon. I've probally handled hundreds of theater knives over the years...
