Vintage Fairbairn Sykes Sheffield England Fighting Knife Dagger & Sheath

This is a vintage Fairbairn Sykes dagger that belonged to a US Vietnam Airborne veteran and he picked it up from a British soldier in the middle-late 1970s while stationed in Berlin. Measures approx 11 1/2 inches long and the blade measures approx 6 3/4 inches long. The bottom blade guard is stamped Sheffield England. I did not attempt to clean or polish the knife or sheath at all. The knife has no cracks, chips or loose parts.

Has been stored inside of a room temperature environment. There is some glare in the photos that could not be avoided.
