This knife is a beast! The overall length of the knife is 13-3/4", the blade is 9". The handle is made from wood. It has been hand filed - no machines.

The knife has a brass guard, a brass pummel and brass pins. A hand sewn, stamped leather sheath is included. The knife listed is hand forged by a local knifemaker and is made to be used (as a knife). The knife is heat treated, tempered and made from high carbon steel. Please do not ask questions concerning the process of how the knife was made. To sum up the process again, all knives listed in our store are made totally by hand, "old school", no machinery or power hammers involved. No pre-fabricated pieces at all. Each knife takes anywhere from 3-7 days to make and are one of a kind.
