Shop Our Other Custom Knives. Normal wear includes blemishes, tarnish, rust, scratches, blade chips, broken tips, edge dings, and dents. Impact knives are not designed to be used as hammers, chisels, pry bars, or screwdrivers. No knife maker can guarantee against the natural aging of organic materials. Proper care and maintenance are essential.

Care of Your Fine Custom Knife. Never store the knife in a leather sheath. Never leave the knife wet.

Apply oil/wax after use and before storing. If rust appears, use 0000 steel wool with oil to clean it off; metal polish can also be used. Never put the knife in a dishwasher.

Keep the guard, bolsters, and butt caps oiled/waxed. A sharp knife is safer than a dull knife. Store in a dry place. Don't try to repair a damaged knife yourself. Send it to us and we'll do our best to make it as good as new.
