Authentic 20th Century Solingen Germany 6 Dagger with Cast Zinc Handle

  
This knife features a cast zinc handle, which is the same material used on the Marine Raider Stiletto dagger by Camillus. The zinc handle has been very well preserved, and shows very little wear or degradation. The checkering is still fully present - two very faint fractures are visible, one on each side of the handle - with a fair amount of craquelure visible on the butt of the knife. Handle is fully intact; no missing areas.

The leather scabbard is new (20th century replacement). Handle is 4.5" and blade is 6" - the blade has a very faint upward bow to one side, point is intact. German manufacturing date of knife is speculation. Though it could have a birth time period or rang from the 1940's through the 1950's. Condition: Fair to good considering age with honest wear and patina.
