Made in the 1990's by custom knife-maker Steve Bass, one of those legendary knife-makers who had previously worked for Buck and later for Anza. You can see in this fine knife Steve's eating influence upon those fine knives by Anza, especially in its choice of blade-stock, which he found in the superior American tool steel used for what began in line as a file. As you can see the finished product here is one of the finest knives of its kind you'll find at ANY price, made with a beautiful hollow-ground and mirror-polished carbon steel blade with gorgeously grained elk stag handle scalesk bolstered with brown micarta. Comes with its original HIGH-QUALITY leather sheath that fits it like a glove. Measures 8-3/8" long with a 3-3/8" blade, but for anyone collecting pieces like this a HUGE find in every way.
