DISPOSING (SLOWLY) OF A VERY LARGE, LIFELONG COLLECTION OF POCKET. POSTING A COUPLE A DAY SO BOOKMARK ME FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. NOTE - no attempt has been made to polish, clean or otherwise make this knife more attractive for photos. Pattern Fairbairn Sykes fighting knife, complete with sheath.
Measures approximately 11 5/8 inches long overall, tip to pommel end. Needle point blade measures approximately 6 7/8 inches long, edge only. Oval cross guard stamped A.
Wright & Sons Ltd Sheffield England. Ribbed brass or bronze grip. Leather sheath with brass tip, belt loop, elastic strap and leg tabs. Blade good with some staining and light pitting (no attempt made to clean up).
Light paint loss to grip and paint loss to pommel end. Sheath good - elastic "tired" and paint rubbing to sheath tip. Please see the detailed photos which form part of the description. No need to check out straight away. We only put up a couple of items a day, so bear with us.
