IMPACT CUTLERY RARE CUSTOM DAMASCUS DAGGER KNIFE BULL HORN HANDLE-279. This beautiful damascus steel blade was 100% hand-forged. The blade is 7.75" long and the knife is 13.0" overall. This blade was created from 288 alternating layers of 1095 High Carbon and 15N20 Nickel Carbon Steel. During the forging process, the blade was heat treated and oil tempered to a Rockwell Hardness of 58-60HRC resulting in a durable and ultra sharp blade. The blade is 5.50MM thick, and was professionally sharpened at 20 degrees. The beautiful and ergonomic handle was constructed of bull horn with finger grooves and a damascus handguard and endcap. The staggered design of this blade is commonly referred to as a "Kris" blade. The "Kris" blade is of Indonesian origin, and is both a weapon and a spiritual object.
