OLSEN Japan 1978-1982 mod264 boot knife -like Mark I dagger, orig sheath UNUSED

  
Scarce Olsen model in general and VERY hard to find in unused condition with correct original boot sheath. Olsen made these for just a few years before a fire destroyed their factory and they were forced to close. This handsome dagger is about 9-1/8" / 23 cm overall; the blade is about 5" / 12.8 cm. Solid bronze pommel and guard; laminated wood handle; all parts are tight with no play. The blade has not been re-sharpened; the tip is intact. Original leather sheath is also unused, the leather is soft and supple; boot spring is nice and tight. Nice vintage MK1 clone in rare unused condition; you will not be disappointed. Now long-gone Olsen Knife Company (was based in Howard City, Michigan).

This knife is pretty much a rip-off of the famous Gerber's. Unlike some other MK1 clones, Olsen's Japan-made quality. Daggers were as good as "the real deal".
