Special Forces Tak Fukuta 514 C. I. Combat dagger, 1982 with sheath

  

Model 514 special Forces combat dagger designed and made by Tak Fukuta in early 1980's in his C. Stacked leather handle and screw-on knurled pommel nut. Has some scratches and small pitting on the blued blade mostly on one side-see photos. Fukuta was the first Japanese maker in the American Knifemakers Guild. He apprenticed with Bob Loveless and Bob was impressed with Tak's work.

His factory in Seki Japan did work for many companies including Gutmann and Browning arms.
