VINTAGE BRITISH BABY 9 FAIRBAIRN SYKES DAGGER STYLE FIGHTING KNIFE W/ SHEATH. Seldomly seen shorter version sometimes referred to as the "Baby Fairbairn" measures 9" overall with a 5" double sided pointed blade. Not sure of exact vintage but certainly not newly manufactured. Heavy turned brass handle with ball pommel and unmarked cross guard. Bright blade has a few areas of dark corrosion that should come off with a good semi-chrome treatment, very tip 1/16 or less is missing and can easily be retipped. Comes with correct, matching short black leather scabbard that has metal tip, tabs and black elastic retaining strap.

Stell attachment rivets show corrosion and need to be cleaned. Leather is sound with no dry rot. Thank you for your interest in our items.
