Original WW2 era (and certainly one of a kind) fighting dagger made from an old European rapier. This so-called "theater knife" was expertly made from a vintage rapier and whatever else was available. A beefy split-stag and brass guard handle has a great grip; the pommel is decorated with a hand-cut bronze flower-shaped butt cap. The guard is a re-worked original rapier handguard cut into a half-moon shape.

The handle is solid; all parts are tight with no play. The blade is a sharpened on one side; the tip is intact. The quality of work is excellent; all parts have a perfect fit.

The dagger is about 13-3/8" /34 cm overall; the blade is about 8-3/4" /22.2 cm; the blade is very sharp still; the tip is intact. An old stag has a nice amber shade to it; no chips or repairs.
