WW2 Handmade Theater FIGHTING DAGGER Knife withmetal Sheath

  
This is a small handmade Dagger or Dirk knife that dates to WW2 and often called a Theater Knife. It recently came from a local Vet's estate along with a lot of his other gear that had been stored since the War. The knife measures 9" long with the blade being 5.5". Convex ground blade with double edge and no flex. Has some light surface rust and decades old patina. Handle is stacked leather with brass buttcap with tang peened off.

Simple yet effective for its intended purpose... Comes with its original steel scabbard with leather lining. Looks like it was cutdown from some German bayonet scabbard and has leather belt loop.
