WWI & WWII (used in both wars). GERMAN SOILDER'S TRENCH FIGHTING KNIFE & SHEATH. Pictured and offered for sale is a AUTHENTIC and ORIGINAL WWI and WWII German Soldiers Trench and Fighting Knife.

Stamped by German Cutler CARL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN. Stamping date is from WWI, and the knife was a WWII American Solider's trophy brought home. CONDITION: Obviously this was a battle, theater fighting knife. The very last picture shows the leather snap cap. The short bit of leather and the end of strap which extends past the cap is missing. Leather is soft and pliable. The blade will so very slightly rattle when shaken.

Easily fixable, however I chose not too, as it caused me no concern. (Picture 7) shows the pommel pressed on nut which holds blade firm. Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed! The item has to be in its original condition and all original documents should be included with your return.
