WWII EGW fighting Knife Dagger WW2 Scarce Type
Said to be the cheapest. This is the Longest version of the EGW that I have ever encountered.
It has an 7 1/2 inch blade.. And is about 12 inches long over all. Has the typical stacked leather grip... And a lanyard loop at the pommel that doubles as the take down pin , if the grips needed service. Comes with a vintage leather scabbard.The blade shows a few. And a couple of old paint splatters...
It can be cleaned up , if desired. I would leave it alone. I have seen photos of.WW2 fighter pilots wearing this identical. These were used by all branches of the American armed forces , the army , United States marine corps and US navy.
