Offered here is a vintage fighting knife, attributed by the previous owner to the WWII era. This piece has the classic "theater made" look-constructed with a stacked leather washer grip, brass guard and pommel, and a single-edged blade with clipped point. Comes with a custom-fit leather sheath. There are no arsenal markings or stampings, which is typical of field- or theater-made knives.

Blade shows use and patina from age, handle has the usual verdigris around the brass fittings, and the sheath shows honest wear. Overall condition is solid and very presentable for display. Knives like this were often handmade by servicemen in-theater or by local craftsmen using available materials.
