Fairbairn Sykes Stiletto Dagger Ribbed & Roped F/s Fighting Knife Ww2 Era

  

Knife is in good functional condition, complete with original sheath. The handle is in good shape, with a round pommel cap and flat bottom.

No other marks besides the "England" stamp, which is expected for the Roped or Beaded types. Blade is in fair condition, this was most definitely used in the field but has held up very well, retaining a good portion of it's bluing and measuring at just over 6 & 3\4 inches from hilt to tip. Blade is flush in the hilt and tightly seated, with some scratches and sharpening marks. Overall this is a very rare variant with it's original sheath in good condition. Even more rare than the beaded variant, almost impossible to find and a prize to add to any collection. We have offered many F\S knives in the past, and are very proud to offer a ribbed & roped type, once in a lifetime!
