Originally designed as a backup for law enforcement and emergency services, the Pentagon is the first multi-purpose double edge knife of its kind. The 5 stainless steel blade offers the instant choice between a serrated or bevel edge for cutting virtually any material.

It's like having two knives in one! Twin thumb notches on the blade enables accurate blade orientation and downward control. The sleek flared out wrap around checkered Kraton handle provides an optimum grip while maintaining a low profile signature. The stainless steel crossguard is custom solder fit to the blade, an unparalleled construction feature, for weather protection and strength. Housed in a black kydex scabbard the Pentagon uses a heavy duty subdued clip for a variety of mountings. We think you will agree, that the Pentagon succeeds as an evolutionary achievement in cutlery! Here comes along another fantastic knife from S. OG - the SOG Pentagon! A mean double edged (serrated and plain) dagger with a coffin-shaped kraton handle, this knife is suited to be a last-resort self defense tool to be hidden. This knife sports a generous 5 blade. Do note that the SOG Pentagon is currently still being produced (under the same name without a'2.0'), but is done so in Taiwan instead of Seki Japan previously. The new ones can be differentiated by the SOG logo on the Kraton handle, a thinner blade of 0.125, and serrations that do not follow all the way to the blade tip. Overall length: 9.75 in. Rarity index scale (1 to 10, 10 being the most rare). 5 - Knives that are on the borderline of being discontinued or have been discontinued for less than 6 months. 6 - Products from 6 onwards are either discontinued or limited edition. Still can be found at a few online shops though. 8 - Knives that need lots of researching to find. Not available anymore in online knife shops and pop up (if you're lucky) >4 months for one at a time.

9 - Knives holding this rarity are the shadowy kind. You can't find any information on them at all (not even from online knife shops that have not taken down that knife's product page). If you see one for sale grab at all cost.
