WW2 German Wehrmacht Nahkampfmesser COMBAT TRENCH KNIFE / DAGGER PUMA

  

Made by PUMA, it comes complete with the original scabbard! As bayonets were typically long and heavy, some soldiers ended up privately purchasing various styles of hunting knives.

Made of bakelite and steel, this Puma German Combat Fighting Knife is in EXCELLENT condition considering its age. The blade is slightly pitted, as you can see in the photos, but it is not as pronounced as the photos suggest (camera flash causing this effect). The blade does show some marks, stains, and wear, but it does not detract.

The scabbard is original to this knife, but features some marks and wear. "PUMA" is clearly stamped into the blade, and it features their signature style bakelite handle. Ould make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
