WWII British vtg brown leather BOOT Fighting KNIFE SHEATH Fairbairn Sykes dagger

  

I have other vintage knives, sheaths, swords, military, etc listed. Here is a vintage leather sheath that is for a Fairbairn Sykes commando fighting knife/dagger. The LAST pic shows this same sheath, but the top leather piece is missing/cut off on mine. This was done for soldiers who wanted to make the knife a boot knife and sheath instead of a belt hanging knife. The leather is tough, but still pliable.

The metal tip is copper or brass. The tip is secured solid. I could not find any markings on the metal or leather.
