PARATROOPER DAGGER BLADE KNIFE AIRBORNE. 2010 NIB NEW IN THE BOX. Aluminium cast integral polished handguard ("D" shape with waves). The word "PARACAIDISTA" (paratrooper) is engraved in the blade, green rubber hilt.

Some aluminium burrs can be seen on polished handguard, this is typical on this brand. The scabbard has a hilt strap with a blued snap button with Yarara logo, the throat is reforced with a leather sheet that gives the look of predecessors' scabbards.

New in the box, with guarantee card andinstructions manual (in spanish, ask for a translation). History of Yarara Knives: "YARARÁ" was born in 1990, with the creation of its first and legendary model "El Comando" (= The Commando), so called because its first destination was the CiaCdo(s) 601 Ejercito Argentino (= Argentine Army 601 Commando Coy), responding to the operational needs required in a timely manner. Made by Yarará, in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Unlike its Erizo (Hedgehog) and Army Arsenal predecessors, this knife is made in a single piece of steel (hidden rat-tail full tang), it does not have the rat-tang welded to the blade, blade and the hilt are a single piece, giving more rigidity to the whole set. The dagger blade has two concave bevels, double edge, with a serrated Spyderco type edge section, it is marked on the right ricazzo: YARARA brand name and logo INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA (Made in Argentina) AC CROMO VANADIO ALEMAN. Blade Material: SAE 6150 Steel (German Chrome-Vanadium Alloy Carbon Steel). Blade Finish: Black matte blued. Type of Edge: Double - Concave (Hollow Ground).
