This is truly a work of steel art. The blade is of unknown damascus origin and slight hamon is evident. The handle appears to be bronze and is engraved... The guard is profusely engraved and shows a slight surface oxidization in one spot, hopefully captured on a close-up.... The but cap is striking and steel of an unknown origin.

There is a slight blemish on the ball of the butt cap..... This is an old Casteel that exudes Doug's far reaching talent! Dimensions: 9 blade 15 overall. Fit and finish' is superb.
